Piano Tuition

Hello I'm Kate. I teach the piano in people’s homes and in schools. I am also a member of an orchestra, the Curious Piano Teachers and the Independent Society of Musicians.

We are all born with the ability to make music. I love to see others develop their musical understanding and skills at the piano and this drives the style of lessons on offer. Music is fundamental to our human experience and the piano is a particularly special gift of engineering, suited to the most diverse musical styles and personalities.

The lessons I deliver are methodical whilst often adapted to the pupil’s own sources of motivation. All pupils are encouraged to to learn and practise with humour, drive and commitment to really make the most of this fabulous gift.
